I just bought this mixer and can't seem my existing Cubase recording software to recognize it for recording. Do I have to run the mixer thru my existing interface or can the Cubase setups be modif

The mixer allows you to use the USB connection for recording without having to use an additional interface. Make sure that you have all of the proper drivers installed for the mixer. Regardless of whether you're using Mac or PC, you should be able to see the device in your list of available Audio Devices. If you do, you need to adjust the proper settings in the Cubase Audio preferences to make use of those inputs.

The manual for my DVD-V3500 says that you can't record from DVD to the VCR. But, can you record from the VCR to a DVD?

In short, no. Not with this unit on its own. No function for recording from or copying to DVDs exists with this brand/model.

A separate DVD recorder is required. I don't know of anyone who records DVDs to tape these days.

You are correct; the manual states clearly you cannot record from the DVD deck in this machine, which is a bit unusual, considering other brands of combos such as LG, SONY and PANASONIC offered an input (which was between channels or could be selected via remote) to allow DVD to VHS recording within the one unit.

I would presume you can connect this combo to the input of a DVD recorder, play a videotape and it will work via cables. DVDs last longer than tapes anyway.

How do i record over existing recordings

Instead of trying to record over existing recordings remove them.

Deleting Files,Pictures,etc from MP3 Player

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.

Hi.

You will need to connect an antenna and program channels to internal tuner if you want to use the built in tuner.

It is not clear if your problem is with the HDTV or with the DVD recorder.

Both have an internal tuner, and both can tune channels , L2 and L3 are the input lines used when you connect for example to an external receiver.

CANNOT ERASE EXISTING GREETING!

Try uplugging the power adapter from the wall and remove all batteries. Wait for three to five minutes before restoring power then batteries.

Try again to erase the greeting.

Problem with memory/erasing discrepancy

I did erase all from the device main menue after having copied them to my computer, that cleared the remaining files and recovered part of the memory. Then I did reformat from the same menu and recovered the entire memory! ;)

I own a Hitachi DZ-GX5100SW, i get a disk error, saying i have to format the disk when i try to record onto it, it then records, but the same error pops up next time i use it, im using DVD-RW disks. please...

This looks as if it needs a clear or new disk each recording
will not record on a disk with existing data on it.
The manual should explain this,

I am sorry but as of now there is no such function or 3rd party apps exist for the P990 which is running UIQ 3 taht can record calls.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
