The n60fn uses two triggers, rapid fire trigger (black metal) is pictued with your post and does not need a spring. Just replace the 3 mm roll pin that holds trigger to the body of the gun and you should be good to go. The other trigger is the white plastic sequential. The sequential trigger uses a fine spring between the trigger and centered on the tva6 trigger valve. Parts and breakdown at www.toolpartsdirect.com. Good luck

The link below will take you to a picture of the trigger valve (tva6) under the body of the handle. There is a small spring inside the tva6 valve and a spring between the trigger and the tva6. If the valve came apart just replace the valve with new (individual parts are not sold for the valve). Easy task. Remove roll pin for trigger with 3mm punch. Remove one or two roll pins for tva6 valve in the body of the gun. If the valve will not come out easily, remove the head of the gun and push out the valve from inside (be carefull not to scratch the surface where the orings make contact). Note how roll pins fit thru the body of the tva6 valve. Your metal trigger should work fine without the spring if your trigger looks like the one pictured on the original post. The trigger is two pieces. Main body and trip lever that is pushed up against the tva6 valve by the safety foot. Main problem that occurs with trigger and trigger valve is that the gun will not fire (only make a slight air noise). This is caused by worn parts not allowing the trigger pin to be pushed all the way into the tva6 valve. Make adjustment to worn parts so that trigger pushes pin all the way in. Please post actual problem that you are having if this info does not answer your question.

Thanks PC_tech50, The problem im haveing is that when i replaced the valve, the spring that goes between the trigger and the valve came off before I had a chance to look at ti and see how it went back together.
    So here it is.:
Picture the trigger in your mind, on the trigger, there is that part that is attached to it, it just hangs there, does the spring just sit on that or does it mount to it some how. There is a sort of "T" shaped hole in ot. I guess the part is what you called the trip lever? yes it does look like the pic above. Is there a way to post a pic here? thanks!

Need to put a hot glue gun back togethe. How do you put the spring back on

Should be a short stub on the back of the trigger. Slide one end of the spring on this stub. compress spring and place trigger on mount. (socket or pin on one side of frame) replace the other half of the shell.

My bobbin holder flew out of my sewing machine and I can't get it to pop back in kenmore model 16524000

THE BOBBIN CARRIER IS WHAT FLEW OUT. THIS IS PUT IN BY ROTATING YOUR HAND WHEEL SO THE NEEDLE IS AT IT'S HIGHEST POINT. THEY'RE IS A SPRING THAT HOLDS THE CARRIER DOWN IN THE MIDDLE APPROXIMATELY. IT IS A LITTLE PIECE OF METAL BUT REALLY IS A SPRING. AS YOU PUT IT IN YOU WILL NEED TO PULL UP ON IT A LITTLE IN ORDER TO SLIDE IT IN. BEFORE YOU DO GO AHEAD AND CLEAN THE RACE THE CARRIER LIES ON AND PUT A DROP OF SEWING MACHINE OIL ON IT.

I need a diagram for the trigger. I cant figure out how to put the spring back into the trigger. It popped out on me while I was workin on it and didnt notice how it was put in?

Look closely inside the handle where it lays. There may be a small plastic post there to hold it and/or the spring. Realize when the trigger is depressed (up against the handle) the spring is loaded and it pushes the trigger back down if you let go of it. Lay the spring in the general area and look for any scraping of the plastic which may show you exactly where it went.

Poulan 3400 chainsaw throttle trigger

Its a missing or broken spring in the handle(trigger). If you look inside the handle you should see a circular spring around the post of the trigger. This spring returns trigger to idle position. If its missing or broken the trigger won't spring back.
