I've done all that but i can't connect to my phone to start downloading

It depends on what kind of samsung phone, but its the same principle for most phones. if the phone came with a cable and a CD, install the software in the cd on the PC and connect the phone to the computer using the cable (most likely USB able). then using the installed program, u can access the contents of your phone from your PC and u can add and remove things (including music and pictures).
You can also use a memory card reader, if u have one and if also your phone used a memory card.

You need to download Zune, this is from www.zune.net this contains the drivers for the handset and from within the software you can transfer your data. Thanks

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
