Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

The paper jam light is on. I have checked several times and there is no jam. I made sure no paper was in. Turned off the printer, checked the plugs and even re-installed it. It will not print. Is it probably dead? It is a Z22

Try taking out your ink cartridges. and reinstall them. Also check to see if your ink is low. If the printer has a rea cover remove it and see if the wheels the the paper is feed by is jammed or loose.

I have problems with paper jams all of the time and it won't print once it jams. I turned off the printer, unplugged it, plugged it back in and turned the printer back on and it worked. You could try that.

My dell v105 paper jam light keeps flashing even tho there is no paper jam. Have turned off and on again several times. Printer has just frozen and paper feed button does not do anythin.. HelP!!!

There might be either a small piece of paper or dust covering the sensor. Take out all of the paper from the printer. Using a can of compressed air blow out the entire paper path. Try the printer again. If it still doesn't work then you may have to get the printer serviced.

Paper jam, need help urgently!

First check the Paper feed roller they maybe slick from paper dust, you need to clean them, then turn of the printer and remove the ink cartridges, turn macine over and check the under side of the machine for any sign of paper, remove any seen, then turn back over reinsert cartridges , turn machine on. paper dust sometimes covers the paper read sensor , causing a paper jam, and slick feed roller also contribute to frequent and pervasive paper jams.

Top light with (x) blinking

Fixed this problem this morning by unplugging the printer from the computer, plugging it back in and changing out both cartridges (color and black) and replacing with new cartridges.

Don't know which helped. I had been unplugging the computer from the power source but not the printer from the computer.

My four year old printer is still cranking - good open forum you provide here. Thank you !
In that spirit, I decided to contribute my update ..... Judy

ok check if the sensor is blocked make sure there isnt a jam in the printer.
make sure it is config right on the cmputer and on the printer itsself
generaly printers dont usualy last more than 5-6 months.
trying giving the makers a call and se what they think.
if all else fails i think it might be time to update
hope this helps

202 pam jam

usually it means that a sensor in your fuser is bad. If you have a P.M. Kit replaced the fuser and clean the printer.

but before you do, make sure that you have cleared all jams, including in the fuser.

Its probably time for a Preventive Maintanence
