Question about Epson AcuLaser C8500 Printer
This error code is displayed when there's a temporary "data error", means transferring data from computer to Printer to make the print outs.
It could be a corrupted or interrupted print job. It's also possible that the Data cable (usb cable) is loose or not properly connected on the computer or on the printer.
Try the following Steps:
First of all, disconnect usb cable from the printer and from the computer (unplug both the ends of the cable) Leave it Off for few minutes and then print a test page or status sheet. (do this before you connect it to the printer) Verify that there's no pending print Queues in the Print Status, if so Cancel them. Now reconnect the usb cable to the computer and on the printer. You are ready to test the printer.
If there's memory installed, please reseat it. Sometimes it's important to restart your computer. So I would suggest you to restart your computer while you keep the printer off.
