I am using Mozilla Thunderbird as an E mail client. They requested an update to Thunderbird 2. A pop-up came up informing me that it was not successful and was denied. I went to their website and tried to download Thunderbird 2 and this was denied. Now unable to get to my E mails or use it. Any ideas? I would appreciate any advice, Thanks Arnie

Download the newest version of Thunderbird.
Install it. It will automatically remove the older version.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/t/thunderbird/thunderbird-locale-en-gb_31.0+build1-0ubuntu0.12.04.1_all.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.91.13 80]

The file you are looking for does not exist on the server the correct file is http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/t/thunderbird/thunderbird-locale-en-gb_31.2.0+build2-0ubuntu0.12.04.1_all.deb

I did notice that there is a newer version available and it is located here http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/t/thunderbird/thunderbird-locale-en-gb_31.2.0+build2-0ubuntu0.14.10.1_all.deb

If in the future you run into this problem here is an easy way to find what you are looking for. In the hyperlink delete the file name that failed from the hyperlink to go to the level of the repository that houses that file, in your case that would be http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/t/thunderbird/ this will show you list of files available, scroll down tell you find the file you are looking for and select it to download. Although the hyperlink is an http link it is an ftp site which has a directory structural you normally can get to find the file you are looking for. Some sites restrict the ability to browse the directory but most allow you to do this.

How can I open Incredimail from my desktop, when it won't open when I click on the icon?

That wouldn't be a Microsoft issue. That would be a support ticket for IncrediMail. Have you tried opening it from the start menu? Try Mozilla Thunderbird. Here is the website for Mozilla Thunderbird:

I want a calendar for my archos 7ht that syncs with google calendar.

Thunderbird is a free email client from the same people that make FireFox (Mozilla). Lightning is the calendar plug-in. It's very well done, easy to use, and made by Mozilla!
First install Thunderbird: http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/
Then install Lightning: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/

Thunderbird is downloading 1 Msg each time instead of downloading all messages at once

Thank you for using FixYa
Hi, I have used Thunderbird myself and decided to remove it due to limitations. From my experience I
would give it a couple of days and see if there is a problem with the mail server before trying a fix.
It seems that T. may be limited to 4 gig of mail for the inbox, or at least that is, from previous history.
Those who had a similiar problem. T. reported that the Inbox was full were directed to copy all
all their email into a Temp folder and then re-index their email by deleting the Inbox. I caution you on
doing this because when you do this you could lose all your email.

You may find more information on this in the Thunderbird Forums.

I hope this was useful and please comment if this was helpful to you.

Detecting a troyan in thunderbird.exe, AVG antivirus erased the link. I reinstalled thunderbird but without link with my old emails. Thank you for help

If your emails were deleted from the server, you can't recover them. Depending on how you re-installed Thunderbird they may still be on your harddrive. Try going to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR NAME ON THE PC\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\iduqa5t7.default\Mail. IDUQA5T7.DEFAULT won't be the same on your PC. Look for the .xxxxxx.default folder. Also, you have to enable "hidden files and folder" in Control Panel>Folders to see the Application Data folder.
