If u have the radio manual the code is in the book...if not the u will have to call kenwood..and give them the serial nuber

Tips for a great answer:
Unfortunately Kenwood Radios can only be decoded on a bench and must be connected directly to specialist software. They cannot be decoded via serial alone. There is however a special procedure that can be used to bypass the security on these units using a master code 5227 (KCAR) which I will outline below.
