Question about Encon Industries (78018) Ceiling Fan

Open Question

We have one of your fans, Model No. 6EB52PB5, installed in May, 2000. You folks sent it to replace a Model No. 5EMR52PBE that developed a whum-whum noise at slow speed. We purchased that fan in August, 1999. Now, the replacement fan has developed the same noise. Is there some fix or repair that I can handle to correct the problem or do we need a new fan? SOURCE: Model H52 hugger ceiling fan.

If you replaced the speed switch with a dimmer control or a lighting control device it will not work properly. You specifically require a fan control switch.

that is the wrong part sent. its for a different model, ask for the part number you ordered. its not compatible, its even a different size. not by much but still different.

Hunter fan

Good... reasonably priced fan.

Be sure to follow codes for securing over-HEAD-support.

Lots of folks have been injured because "installers"...
merely remove light fixture.. and install FAN WITHOUT
proper support...

VERY Dangerous (hard hat area (at best))...!!!

I need help on how to replace a ford 99 model super cab fan belt and what size belt would I need... also can I tighten the head gasket with a shifter.. cluless? ? Thank you. Carryn

First to get right fan belt you tell folks at parts store year, make & model & engine size and they look it up for you. To change belt depending in which belt you have to loosen alternator, power steering pump etc... bolts and slop old belt off new one on and retighten. (Parts folks can show you how also) If you have a bad head gasket, they need to be replaced not tightened.

We need to replace the drum unit on a Minolta Di3510 and were told that when you replace the drum unit you also need to replace the developer. Where and how is the developer replaced on this unit.

Not familiar with your model.... but...
When you install the toner cartridge, the toner is routed into a developer unit. this unit has "developer" in it that mixes with the toner. Generally you purchase the developer, remove the developer unit, remove the top cover of the unit, empty the contents of the unit. add the new deveoper to the unit, replace the cover, install the toner cartridge. a lot of times this requires going into service mode to reset the developer count and run a conditioning mode. Not sure if this is any help but here you go.

Cooling fan not working

The fans only run when the engine reaches approxminatly 235 degrees F. on the guage that is near the end of scale just before guage show "HOT" I don't think you have a problem, allot of folks out there don't know about this.
