the leak was on a water return fixture on the side of the unit. 3m 5200 marine sealant did the trick.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If you have water leaks around the base of your dishwasher, you may be using a detergent that is causing too much suds. Cut back on the amount of detergent you use, and see if that makes a difference. Water that spills through the door vent is usually caused by improperly loading dishes. Leaks from the door itself may be caused by a faulty door gasket or door tightness adjustment. You should check the main tub seal, the door latch, the door gasket, the water-inlet valve, and the fill and drain hoses.

Also make sure the dishwasher is sitting level (you can adjust the front feet up or down, and many units have some type of levelers at the rear). Water under the dishwasher may be originating from a leaky hose or loose hose connection. Remove the lower front panel, and check the hoses. The pump seal may be defective, too; replacing this is a job for an appliance repairperson. An older dishwasher may corrode at the bottom, but this is fairly uncommon. If this is the case with your dishwasher, it's time for a new one.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

E15 i want reset it ?

If this is a Bosch dishwasher, the E15 error indicates water in the base of the unit. You need to unplug the dishwasher and pull it out (if it is an under-counter unit) carefully. Empty the water from the base. Sometimes tipping the unit so that the base is tilted 45 degrees from the floor will help the water flow out. Make sure that the entire base is dry.

Replace the dishwasher under the cabinet (if needed) and plug it back in. If the error repeats at the next cycle, you need to determine where the dishwasher is leaking. It could be the outlet hose, the pump or the tub. Replace the bad part. If the dishwasher is under warranty, contact Bosch.

I hope this helps.

(if you recently had a flood either under the kitchen sink or an overflow at that sink, you just need to dry the dishwasher base.)

My GE Potscrubber Model GSD2230Z04WW is not dissolving the soap. I have already replaced the water inlet valve.

Check your wash arms, and make sure the holes are not plugged. Also make sure they are free to turn. Next, remove the toe-kick panel, and look for leaks or signs of leakage. Sometimes (especially if your tile floor doesn't go all the way back), dishwashers will leak most of their water out and you never know it! Other simpler things is to make sure you are not blocking the soap dispenser with large pans or plates.

My brand new still in the box dishwasher was leaking in my truck and now is leaking on my kitchen floor. Is this normal?

No, this is not normal. Sometimes a unit gets frozen (cold) and cracks plastic. Sometimes a hose gets pulled off.
The amount of water allowed to leak needs to be zero.

Pull the unit, get lots of light, mirrors possibly, and find what is leaking... Once you identify where the water is coming from, you will know how to proceed.

Zero water leaks.

Water leaking. Mongram zic[s]360 (frig on top, pullout freezer on bottom with ice maker. no water dispenser). Leaks with water supply cut off to icemaker. Ice forms on bottom. Several years old but we...

Have the fridge pulled out and check behind it. I had same model and it was leaking into my walls/floor and caused thousands of dollars in damage to my kitchen. BLACK MOLS Covered my walls/cabinets and made me sick. Please be very careful with this excess water coming from this model. GE should recall it but will not unless forced. Not Cool.

Have replaced door gasket and dishwasher still has puddle of water in left corner of floor after running. No visable leaks.

most likely you have too much soap in the unit that is causing sudsing. suds will over run the tub and leak out the corners. try to run the unit with no soap and use the water heat option. after that you should cut back on how much soap you are using. it might be as simple as that.

It leaks very sudsy water all over my floor through the door. I think it is clogged and not draining properly.

very sudsy? 'automatic' dishwasher soap should not do this. if you are using 'hand' dishwashing soap, use 'automatic' dishwasher soap. if you are using 'automatic' dishwashing soap, try another brand. suds are for people to look at. 'automatic' dishwasher soap should not do this. good luck

GE dishwaher leaks with standing water in bottom

Check to make sure regular dish soap did not end up getting inside the dishwasher. This will create a lot of suds that will overflow onto the kitchen floor. Standing water from not draining can mean the drain hose is clogged somewhere or the check valve has something caught in it. If you remove the front kick plate, you will be able to check those.
