Question about Dell Inspiron 1501 Notebook
If its windows XP you can boot to safe mode by tapping F8 as soon as you turn on the computer, on the advance boot option select safe mode. Click the Administrator account it doesnt have any password by default however if you changed the password then the only option is to format and reload the operating system
If its windows vista, then boot to Vista CD, wait until it loads the windows files, select the kybd layout and language settings then select the Repair the computer, on the WinRE select System restore, it will take couple of secs or mins before it will open, put a check on the box that says show older date (something like that, aint sure the exact line) then select the date that you think that your password is still working then let it restore. if still doesnt work then you have to reinstall your windows.
hope this help
