If you watch on the interior of the lcd you will see few gum pieces around the lcd screen. Remove them and you'll be able to acces to the screws. Unscrew them and you have acces to the cover

I need manual acer extensa 7620G

you can download the manual here as well as the drivers and bios (tho do NOT upgrade the bios if you haven't done that before as you may end up with an expensive paperweight)

The back cover of my Acer Extensa 5220 laptop is cracked

It would cost about $100-200 for parts.

That doesn't include the repair time. For me it would take about 10-15 minutes.

For a novice about 1-2 hours.

That's the jest of it.

New laptops $200-400 for decent rigs.

Lcd screen cracked

You can get a new screen from www.lcdpart.com
You can get dismantling info from them.

Basically you need to remove screws from the lid and bezel to reveal the LCD screen mounting screws. You also need to remove part of the plastic case next to the bottom of the screen, this will reveal the video cable conector etc.
If the top plastic case is in one piece, you need to remove this and possibly the keyboard to reveal the video cable connector.

No light on screen of acer extensa 4620 4605 PC notebook

This is a problem I have experienced with my HP laptop as well. I found some info on this and was told that it was the inverter. I managed to fix this by finding the inverter and, unplugging both ends of it and plugging it back in. This fixed the problem and a week later its still working!

The inverter is usually located at the bottom of the screen. To access it you need to unscrew the screws around the screen. This will involve removing the plastic covers and simply unscrewing them.

Once you have removed the plastic cover from around the screen, you should see the inverter at the bottom. Re-seat the connectors, and see if this fixes it. If not, replace with inverter. The site below is an example of where you can buy one.

This may help you with the process

Hope this helps, let me know
