Test or replace your PSU power supply unit then test all leads that attach tour hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA,making sure they have secure connections and are not faulty and the ones from your motherboard or just replace all of them

Tip

Annoyed that your Num Lock key isn't on when you start your PC?

Here's a quick tip to ensure your numlock key stays "ON" by default when the computer starts.
1. log off your PC to the Ctrl-Alt-Del screen
2. Turn on the NumLock key
3. Hit Ctrl-Alt-Del (like you are about to log on)
4. Don't log on, hit the "shut down" button to turn off your PC

This saves the numlock key in the "ON" position by default when the PC starts.

How do I start my computer in safe mode? (XP)

Hi,

Turn off the pc if it is on. Turn on the pc and as soon as you do, start tapping the F8 key on your keyboard. You will then end up with Windows Advanced Option before it starts loading windows. If it does not load up, turn off your pc and then back on and try again with the F5 key

Once you get to the Advanced Options, use your keyboard arrow keys to select Safe Mode and then press Enter

Hope that helps, pls rate the solution

when you turn on your pc desktop do you hear any beep sounds when it starts to reboot? if not then it could be probably cause by your graphic card not slot in properly or other hardware parts not properly inserted and install. Please turn off your PC and check all the hardware parts in your desktop are properly in place. cheers
