ı bougth a philips x710 cel.phone.at 06.02.2010 from official dealer in turkey. ı get the messages "invalid sim" for the second sim card.service updates software 3 times but it works only 15 day; then after same promlem occured 3 times .ı get *#06# and ı get the second ımeı number is different from inside of cell.phone and on the box also...just now ı have same problem again.how can ı do?

Hi.

If *#06# stays on screen, IMEI. in permament test mode. If typing *#06# you get different numbers, then the phone internal Rom is defective.

Have a phone replaced, this phone is loosing ROM settings in 15 days because of a faulty ROM. Insist for a full replacement from manufacturer, re-flashing the phone with software firmware will last only until ROM gets resetted again.

If your phone show Invalid SIM it means the SIM card is corrupted you will have to change the SIM card.There is no other option.

This problem usually occurs if the software of the phone is not upgraded properly or there is some damage in the sim circuit board due to which it is not able to detect or access the sim. Please go the nearest LG service center & analyse the problem

Phone reads second sim invalid


Go to Settings/Dual SIM settings and choose Dual SIM open. Perhaps this is the problem.

Invalid sim message on i68 phone


i have the same problem i keep on putting my sims in (one tesco sim & one voda phone sim) and it said the same thing invalid sim. the sim regestars for about 2 seconds then it either says invalid sim or emergancey calls. whats a matter with it should i send it back.kjr2502
