Use the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to determine which file is causing the issue, and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
  2. Type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannowThe sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.
To determine which files could not be repaired by the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
  1. Open an elevated command prompt.
  2. Type the following command, and then press ENTER: findstr /C:"[SR] Cannot repair member file" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txtNote The Sfcdetails.txt file contains details from every time that the System File Checker tool has been run on the computer. The file includes information about files that were not repaired by the System File Checker tool. Verify the date and time entries to determine the problem files that were found the last time that you ran the System File Checker tool.
  3. Type the following command, and then press ENTER: edit sfcdetails.txtThe Sfcdetails.txt file uses the following format: Date/Time SFC detail

Toshiba lp a-135.win 7 stolen, recovered is showing win vista shows sys 32/drivers/ksecdd system. Status:0xc0000221. have nodisc do have Dell discs what I do?. reinstall discs HP an generic?

Your computer can only use the version of software that came with it because of the specialist drivers. If you have a Toshiba computer, you can't use an install disc from a Dell or HP. It just won't work. You say your version of Windows 7 is stolen. That is piracy and carries penalties if caught. The operating system is something that is the very heart of your computing and my view is that you should pay for that software at the very least. Your best bet is to contact the make of the computer and ask for a set of restore discs which by the sound of it will install Vista. Good luck with that as I am pretty sure support has ceased. You may be able to get some drivers from the makers site, but not the full OS.

Hello to everyone, I have been reading forums for

This is a typical sign of a defective hard drive.Your hard drive might or might not be repairable, depending on the degree of damage.
I would recommend that you use a live CD (such as this one: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html) to boot up your computer & run a hard disk diagnostic tool like HDD Regenerator. It might take several hours (sometimes days) to fix the damage. If this did not help, then you will have to replace the hard drive.

Fix error 651 on windows 7

In windows 7, when you try to connect using your PPPoE connections, you may be faced with the following error: Error 651: The Modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error.
These connections would work just fine with Windows XP or Windows Vista PCs.
Again, you are not alone, this seems to be a known bug in Windows 7 that is being worked at. However, you can workaround this problem.
The RAS PPPoE driver file "raspppoe.sys" found under c:windowssystem32drivers folder seems to be the root cause of the problem. Fortunately, we can workaround the problem simply by renaming the original raspppoe.sys file to something like "raspppoe_orig.sys" copying a working file from a Windows Vista system. If you do not have access to a Windows Vista system. click here to download raspppoe.sys file (unzip). This should help!

STOP C0000221 erro de hardware desconhecido systemroot system32 ntdll.dll

You may receive one of the following stop error messages while working on your Windows XP computer.
STOP: C0000221 unknown hard error
Path\File_nameSTOP: 0xC0000221 unknown hard error
C:\Winnt\System32\Ntdll.dll (or another specific file or driver)
STOP: 0xC0000221 STATUS_IMAGE_CHECKSUM_MISMATCH
Path\File_name
Note: The error message may be discussed in many different formats-blue screen or message box. It depends on when the corrupt file was detected.
Similarly, you may receive the following STOP messages when a critical system file fails to load on your Windows NT and Windows 2000 computer.
STOP: C0000221 unknown hard error
<path>\<file_name>STOP: 0xC0000221 unknown hard error
c:\winnt\system32\ntdll.dll
Note: Some other drive may also be given in the message.
On Windows 2000 the following error message may display:
STOP: 0xC0000221 STATUS_IMAGE_CHECKSUM_MISMATCH
<path>\<file_name>
You usually face this problem when an incorrect driver for one or more hardware is installed on your system. For instance, the error messages described above are displayed when you install a millions of instructions per second (MIPS) driver on a x86 system.
Cause of the Error
This error occurs if the file given in the error message is damaged.
Your Windows XP operating system checks the following files for integrity during system startup:
  • All driver files, excluding the files that loaded using the system loader to start your system .
  • All DLL (Dynamic Link Libraries) on the system. These include, Graphics Driver Interface (GDI), User, Ntdll, Crtdll, Shell, Kernel and several other DLL files on the system.
  • On Windows NT and 2000 computers, all DLLs loaded in the Window server address space are also checked.
The problem may also occur if an Iomega Zip drive is connected to the same cable as your hard disk drive.
Resolution Method
You can resolve this issue by removing the corrupt driver from your computer and then reinstalling a fresh and healthy copy of the driver. You may need to use the Device Manager utility to remove the driver. It is recommended that you clean your registry with the help of a reliable tool, such as RegGenie to ensure that all entries related to the uninstalled driver are removed from the system. After you have completely removed the corrupt driver, restart your system and install a fresh copy of the driver on the system.
If this step does not resolve the problem, you may have to reinstall Windows XP.
It is recommended that you regularly clean your registry with the help of a registry cleaner tool and perform antivirus and antispyware scan using tools, such as Antivirus Plus and StopZilla to prevent such errors from occurring on your system.

GOOD LUCK :-)

Blue screen Netio.sys

Basically this occurs by virus hit.. Now better install new operating system and never download cracks or keygens from any sites, most of them will contain virus which causes this.. and note while using pen drives too hold shift key when it is being inserted, this prevents automatic execution of virus.

Dell vostro 1700 NETIO.SYS 0xc0000098

This is probably a problem with either the media (bad disk, or picky optical drive) or with some hardware. In the first case, I would try to reinstall first, and if that fails consider using a different drive or disk (if possible). As it points to the Netio.sys file, in the second scenario it may be related to a network device (i.e., ethernet). My suggestion in that case would be to remove all devices possible from the computer, and to disable on-board LAN/audio in BIOS to see if that helps.
