Before contacting Belkin to obtain a replacement of the unit, I'd suggest attempting to locate a different AC adapter for your router. You never know, it may be bad and your router could be fine. If you can't locate one, or the one you found didn't work, contact Belkin for a replacement.
It is not possible to connect your USB modem to belkin router... You need to run an ethernet cable between the modem and router...
Belkin routers are not compatible with USB modems like cricket broadband, MTS Mblaze modem etc...
You can reset the Belkin back to the factory defaults by powering up the router and press and hold the RESET button for approx 7 secs.
You can then configure the wireless settings, password and encryption etc. again.
