SOURCE: Toshiba auto washing machine model

Hi.

E2 is not an error code. It means that the Spin only mode has been started and that the cycle is now over.

To reset the machine try disconnecting power (trip circuit breaker), connecting back, then hold down the Super Spin Dry button while you start the machine at the same time (press On while holding the other button). You should hear three beeps and the machine will be reset to initial settings.

E2 error code aw-8990st toshiba wash

Toshiba top load washers have standard error codes. Depending on the display (2 or 3 digits depending on the model) it will either show E21 (or E23) or alternate E2 and -1 (or E2 and -3). Here's a list of most Toshiba washers error codes;

E1: Water doesn't drain in time or not at all
E21: Lid open
E23: Lid not locking
E31: Load imbalance
E32: Check E1 and/or E31
E5: No water coming in

You can try resetting to factory default by following the procedure: Power OFF, then pressing and holding the Super Spin Dry button, press power ON and it should beep 3 times.

Hope this helps

I have TOSHIBA AW 8500 S washing machine... there is one part which located inside washing tub (part with net) where all dust nd all accumulated during washing, is comppletetly destroyed.... i want want...

Toshiba does not seem to support washers in USA. You should go to Toshiba worldwide support at http://www.toshiba.co.jp/worldwide/index.html. Select your country and follow the steps to get a phone number. Talk to a CSR and they should be able to give you a part number and/or dealer near you.

It sounds like you need the Lint trap for your Toshiba AW 8500S washer. Good luck!
