Hmm..that's interesting..try removing the port from control panel/device manager, and then scan for hardware changes..

It might be possible some kinda a BIOS corruption. Let us try this first. ASA computer starts keep on tapping F2, it will enter the BIOS setup utility, then press F9 and then F10, save the seeting and restart the computer. It should resolve the issue. But if the issue still persists, then update the BIOS. Visit the webiste mentioned below:

http://support.acer.com/drivers_download.aspx

Select the model and update the BIOS.

My laptop won't boot from cd

to reset the BIOS, there is a small battery somewhere in your computer. if you unplug it for 3 seconds, it will reset the BIOS. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT TRY THIS! get a service professional. If this doesn't work you might need to get a new laptop.

Not enough resources to to use AIRCARD 881

Hi there.
Code 12 This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12)Cause

This error can occur if two devices that are installed on your computer have been assigned the same I/O ports, the same interrupt, or the same Direct Memory Access channel (either by the BIOS, the operating system, or both). This error message can also appear if the BIOS did not allocate enough resources to the device.

Recommended resolution

You can use the Troubleshooting Wizard in Device Manager to determine where the conflict is, and then disable the conflicting device.

Disable the conflicting device
  1. On the device Properties dialog box, click the General tab.
  2. Click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard. The wizard asks you some simple questions and provides a solution to your problem based on the answers that you provide.
  3. Follow the resolution steps provided by the wizard to resolve the problem.
Good Luck and thanks for choosing FixYa!!

Sounds like an IRC Conflict with one of your devices. Go into your control panel , computer managment, device manager and see if any devices have an ! beside them and try to re-install the drivers for the affected piece of hardware. Make sure they have all the correct drivers installed. Have you installed any new hardware? what OS are you running? If you have installed new hardware into your machine, it could be a jumper issue. Have you checked your settings in the BIOS or modified any settings in there? You could also try to reset your BIOS back to factory default settings if you have been changing settings, that could also lead to your problems.More info is needed to help you further. Good Luck
