Sony Bravia, flat screen TV with bouncing picture on the bottom of the screen. Did not get dropped or hit. Plus on lower right hand portion white circle. According to the only TV repair guy on island it is the screen and not fixable. True or false?

Halfof the picture is green

Time for a new HDTV. I don't think that would be a setup configuration setting. It's broken. Chances are, like my Sony Bravia which had the lower right hand corner of the front of the LCD panel fall and hit a sharp object, it cannot be easily fixed. The LCD panels or electronics typically cost more than buying a new one.

You could check for a Factory Authorized Service for Samsung, online, and find a local shop. Here it's Lakes Electronics near Fort Lauderdale - I know because I used to work for them. I also looked up Sony and found a few more. They wanted over $900 for the LCD Panel for a 32" Bravia TV. The TV only cost like $700.00 new.
