Question about Sears Kitchen Appliances - Others
Kenmore seal-n-save model 69024 115V 5A The unit will not power up was working fine. First the sealing light did not come on while the vac was operating, then the vac would not work. I do not have a componet diagram, nor manual. I have tired online...sears doesnt even reconize the product. There were several postings stating people could not get parts or repair for this unit. My question, is there a transformer and/or relay switch that needs replacement, or some control ie thermal that needs to be reset internally. I am leaning toward electrical parts as a solution rather than a new vac pump, although a means of viewing a sheet of paper with pieces, parts and specs would be outstanding. So if you have any knowledge or suggestions, besides taking it apart and hoping there is some form of identification on the parts...it would be oh so helpful. Oh just to save you from asking...yes it was plugged in, the outlet works, and there is no damage to the electrical cord. Thanks

Its pretty comlicated requires dissasembly of the front of the washer. A good tech can do in 1 hour. You may want to pay for it rather than spending all day and possibly damaging something. Let me know if you need further assistance.

SOURCE: Maytag Washer/Dryer stackable
well i am having about the same problem, but mine won't even fill, the dryer works but the washer won't fill or turn on at all. my husband had it all apart, too the control assembly to parts place and they said that hardly ever goes bad so it is still sitting unusable with no answer or money to spend on it in site.

The wheel has left handed threads. Use an impact wrench and an adjustable wrench to get it off or get a vice grips or pipe wrncha nd lock down the shaft then get a stick of wood or a hammer handle and shove it in between two fins at the 3 oclock position. Slam downwards on the wheel and it should pop loose.
