A E000202-000 deals with the scanning lamp. They have a odd type of lamp. One of the ends maybe burnt out or the heater is not working correctly. I would clean the optic's and see if the lamp turns ON. Odds are you will need to replace the scanning lamp with the heater on the lamp. Good Luck

In canon ir 2016 there is no scanner movement & also the laser lamp is not glowing & the machine is indicating check document

In canon IR 2016j, if you get error " check document", its a communication error. so you check the flat cables in control board ( is a board in the scanning section)
* Change cable from scanning lamp
* change 2 cables from ip board.

IR 400 E220 in Starting Machine

these means that you have problem with scanning lamp or scanning section.

Open the document cover and turn ON the copier, see if the lamp will glow, if not, probably you need to change the scanning lamp, but if it glows and you still has the E220, remove copy glass and put the scanning lamp in home position ( to the left side ) - NORMALLY BEFORE REMOVING THE LAMP TURN THE COPIER OFF AND PULL THE POWER PLUG FROM THE POWER OUTLET!!!!!

Hope that helps!

I have machine canon 6030 np and there problem called : E224 please send how can I solve it

Basicly, a E224 is a scanning lamp error code. Here's a question for you??? Will the scanning lamp turn "ON" at all? If so, then the problem is with the scanner power cable. If the lamp will not turn "ON" you may have a blown lamp & or thermal fuse on the scanner unit. You can not clear the code until the problem is fixed. Good Luck

E02 in canon Np 160

I believe a E02 deals with the scanner. Your copier is very old. It has been a long time scine I've worked on one. Have you checked that the exposure lamp has continuiy? If so, you may have a blown thermal fuse for the scanning lamp. Also, dose the scanning lamp turn "ON"? You may have a broken scanner lamp power cable. You should be able to order the parts on line.. Good Luck...

Hi there,
Check the status of each cartride by using the ink lamp.
You have 3 lamps
(A) Alarm lamp
(B) Black ink lamp
(C) Color ink lamp
Make sure that the LED is on standby mode.
a) If the ink lamp lights.
Cause : Ink is low.
Action :You can continue printing for a while, but we recommend you have a new FINE cartridge available.

b) The Alarm Lamp lights and the ink lamp flashes .
* If "E, 1, 3 " is displayed on the LED, ink has run out.
Cause : Ink level cannot be detected.
Action : Ink may have run out.
The function for detecting the remaining ink level will be disabled since the ink level cannot be correctly detected.
If you want to continue printing without this function, press Stop/Resset buttonfor atleast 5 seconds.
Canon recommends to use new genuine Canon cartridges in order to obtain optimum qualities.

* If E,1, 6" is displayed on the LED,
Cause : Ink has run out.
Action. Rreplace the ink cartridge and close the Scanning Unit (Printer Cover).
If printing is in progress, you want to continue printing, press the Stop/Reset button for atleast 5 seconds with the ink cartridge installed. Then printing can continue under the ink out condition.
The function for detecting the remaining ink level will be disabled.
Replace the empty ink cartridge immediately after the printing. The resulting print quality is not satisfactory, if printing is continued under the ink out condition.

c) Only the ink lamp flashes
Cause : The function for detecting the remaining in level is disabled.

Hope this helps.
Please rate my response.
Have a good day.
