Question about Canon PowerShot A70 Digital Camera
Although the start up light comes on and information about settings is displayed on screen, no images are displayed. When I try to take pics, the flash goes off but no image. I tried downloading to PC and all I got was a completely black picture. AQny suggestions or solutions please?
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
