Sounds like the thermocouple needs changing. This is the flame failure device, they can burn out after a few years. Recommend getting a technican to fix it but you could ask him to make sure he has a thermocouple for this model on his first visit to save paying for two calls.

    Derek T,
Solution above is for the Cosyglow model you have. Main thing that would cause your fault is a dodgy thermocouple or tilt switch. It all comes as one part and is a complete assembly.
Rinnai Australia part number I have is 90143645. This from a 2005 parts manual for the Cosyglow.

Lever does not always work

make sure the chain is as short as you can make it it you need the flapper to stay open longer get one with a foam float or the one with a chamber on top that holds water as a counter weight that leaks out the bottom through a little hole this creates a timed delay

Gas ignites with lever ignition but when lever is released gas cuts out

I can't tell what kind of appliance you're talking about.... but, here's what I know.. This "lever" you're talking of kind of stumps me, but try, after the gas lights, to hold the lever in the position you had when you lit the flame. Hold it on for about a minute... then release it... and see if the flame will remain going. If you can't keep the flame going "no matter what", you probably need to clean or replace the flame sensor.

The brakes and handle on my bugaboo doesnt work the handle does stay still it slides down when im holding it and the brakes work when they want to

Problem 1/ The handle extension lever is held in by the pin it pivots on, cut the tip of a smaller size nail and use it to tap out the pin. There should be a rubber block and a matching steel shim under the lever. The lever pushes on the shim and the shim on to the rubber block jamming it against the handle. The steel shim is the usual problem. it slips out. Open the other side and use that shim to get a copy cut. A piece cut out of a tin can could work.
Problem 2/ This may sound strange but the best thing to do with the Bugaboo brake system is to lubricate it with silicon spray. Both the lever and the cable. The bugaboo does not use friction to brake with but the engagement of teeth. Ratchet teeth in the lever and brake shoe teeth into the wheel hub teeth at the wheels. Lubrication won't effect braking but wear on those teeth will!

"Down lever" doesn't stay down

You can try taking the toaster over to the kitchen sink and hold it upside down. Shake the heck out of it and you may dislodge something (like an old breadcrumb) in the switch. I've had to do this numerous times. You have to flip it upright, shake it, turn it upside down and shake it again -repeat until nothing comes out and nothing sounds like it's rolling around in the toaster.

Troy Bilt Pony s/n P92695 5Hp Briggs. Drive wheels won't stay engaged. Lever jumps out. Can hold lever in with not much effort and will stay engaged. Any adjustments?

yes there is an adjustment. follow your shift lever down and you will find a block of iron with 2 bolts holding it. you will also see ond the lever itself a spring loaded pin.most of the time this pin gets gummed up and does not engage the block completely.clean and ensure the pin moves freely. if this does not solve the prob then the block can be moved up or down by loosening the bolts.

PTO CONTROLS. How do you engage and disengage PTO.

The tractor is not a 6300 is it.If it' not you need to adjust the cable for the p.t.o. until it will stay down.Don't turn the turnbuckle too much at a time because there is a fine line between the won't engage and the won,t disengage adjustment.

Lever on taoster will not stay down

I would just buy a new toaster...they are not that expensive. Check the intruction book first because maybe it's under warranty. Or if you bought it very recently, just take it back to the store. Most places will take it back even without a reciept if you tell them you just bought it and it's already broken.

Toaster won't stay down but does heat

I had the same problem. I opened up the toaster and found that the electromagnet that holds the plastic clip to keep the toaster down had a tiny crumb between the magnet and the metal plate. I cleaned the magnet and it is working fine again. We spent 6 months burning toast by holding it down with a chopstick wedged between the lever and finally took a shot before I went to buy a new one. Took me all of 15 minutes.
