What would cause an unlocked, fully charged iphone 4 to turn its self off when using a straight talk sim

I had a common problem with my iPhone 4. Using it with maps, it drained the battery within an hour or so. I thought I destroyed the battery. I went to the Apple store, and they offered me a free of charge (3 years old phone) diagnose on the genius bar.
I had to unlock the phone and the genius started an app (I could not see what app) and then put it next to a iPad. The iPad had a program running and within minutes there was the report. The battery was almost as new, but there were a couple of apps, fighting for the first place and draining my battery. It was a known problem, caused by an old firmware (NOT THE OS). They offered me to update the firmware, and half an hour later i was outside with a great working iPhone 4. It still works perfect and I do have a battery life of 3 days (I don't make many calls)
So if you have time to visit the Apple store ask them the same. If he store is not close to you, I would make an appointment using the net. Before you leave to the store, make sure you have a backup, because they will wipe the whole phone.

Success.

My Lg Xenon is not charging properly. It says full battery after i charge it but then when i talk to someone on the phone after about 20 mins it starts beeping saying it has low battery and eventually...

I had a similar problem with a brand new LG Xenon. The battery charger said it was charging but the phone didn't charge. When the battery life on the phone died the phone would not turn on with the charger. I plugged it into my USB port on my laptop and the phone fully charged for real. I got 4 days before I had to recharge it again. Try USB cable to a PC to charge phone. Charger is probably bad. I am getting a replacement and will see if that works.

Samsung Blackjack II Screen Stays Black

I have a solution. Call at&t. they will send you a new one. I have had my phone for 5 months and it happened to me also. There's a warranty on the phone itself that covers it from the day "you" started using it. I bought mine from a friend. Cool!! It should be here in 5 days free shipping.

Take your SIM card out.
Make sure your phone battery is fully charged.
Press * 3 send at the same time and turn the phone on. Keep them pressed until the reset screen appears.
Give it time to reset.
Yes! I know. You need someone to press the ON button.

I have a Plantronics with a headset, but the battery does not last a day. 1- is there a phone with a larger storage compacity? Sleeples in Toronto. Thank you

if the battery is to the headset then most likley the device is faulty, unless you talk alot. on the headset package it displays the amount of talk time. if you do not have the package, call radio shack, and give them the headset modle # and they could tell you the talk time(i say radio shak because it is a small store, so the associats have knowledge of most store items).

if it is your phone battery, get a new one, let it charge fully, LET THIS NEW BATTERY DRAIN COMPLETELY UNTILL THE PHONE CUTS OFF BY ITSELF, after this, let it charge fully again and its ready for use. (this gives the battery maximum life).
