How do I activate Bluetooth on Acer Aspire 4810TZ-4696?

Check to see if there is an "Fn" key to enable Bluetooth. Most Acer's have a bluetooth icon on the F3 key. By pressing Fn-F3 you are able to enable or disable bluetooth.

I turned off my touch pad to my acer aspire 5733z and it wont turn bk on

Locate the "Fn" key in the lower right or left corner of the laptop keyboard.

The "Fn" key typically has different colored text on it or the key itself is a different color.

Locate the function (F1 through F12) key at the top of the keyboard that disables or enables the touchpad on the laptop.

The key typically has an icon that resembles a touchpad with a finger touching it or a touchpad with a diagonal line through it.

Press both the "Fn" and touchpad Function key simultaneously to reactive the touchpad on your laptop.

Move your finger along the touchpad to verify that it works.

Press the combination at any time to disable the touchpad again.

hope this helps

This process is different for each computer manufacturer.
If unsure which Function key enables and disables the touchpad, try each one at a time and then
attempt to use the touchpad after each one.

Mousepad not working

Hello,

Each Touchbad should have basic functionality by default in every Operating system, letting it be used even when no driver is installed. However, try pressing FN and F7 together and see if the touchpad works again. Some people accidently press this FN + F7 key when they mute the sound with the FN + F8 key.

The FN + F7 is there to disable/enable the touchpad as some people use a USB mouse instead of the touchpad.

If you still need the drivers, here are the download links. Please choose desired driver by Operating system and Touchpad brand...

How do I turn the synaptic touch pad off on my acer aspire

This should be an easy fix...after many months of trying to disable touchpads on machines that did not have the one button disable feature either in the control panel or on the touchpad itself I discovered it was one of the function keys.

Press function (FN) and the "F7" key...press again to re-enable. Good luck!
