Mic won't work at auxiliary mode

On the remote control, there is a blue "Magic Mic" button. Press on that your mic will turn on in any mode.
Just joking but I've been mad about how bad this LG home theater system is. It can only play extremely limited video files and turn off the mic in AUX mode. So the answer is you really can't do that. Buy a mixer instead.

Doesn't turn on the dvd

What is needed is a multimeter and a screw driver to open the set. Check the continuity of the cord wire to the set, check through the fuse and check the power supply. If there is no power to the main panel then the power supply must be checked. If not the processor section can be faulty. Check the 5 volt rail to the processor.

Does the model HTS3372D/F7 play both Blue Ray and DVD or just DVD's ?

If you web searched the question or for a manual you might find something like

... which says "Plays it all
Play virtually any disc you want - whether they be CDs, (S)VCDs, DVDs, DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW or DVD+R DL. Experience unbeatable flexibility and the convenience of playing all your discs on the one device."

which says "If there are questions regarding our TV set

compatibility with this model 525p and 625p
DVD player..."

Um, no Blu-Ray.

There is a dvd in the drawer and I can not get it to eject

If you have a remote have you tried that?

Check to see if the eject bay is jammed, all you need is a flathead screwdriver and a flash light, just pry it open a little bit, if its a minor jam it should slide out.

IF the bay power has shorted it will need to be replaced which can be difficult and pricey, If its an older model however I think it is just stuck, just give it a little pry and see if it comes free, my old philips dvd player does the same thing on a consistent basis, it just needs a little prod.

Philips Home Theater - Annoying high pitch sound while on standby

I have the same problem with the same model, so obviously it's not a single-unit problem. My only solution, since taking it back isn't feasible at this point, is to have a DVD on play-pause so that it's not on standby. Waste of energy, so I don't do it all the time, only when I'm sitting in the room late at night making the high-pitched noise hard to ignore.

I purchased the philips home thearter sourrond sound model # HTS3372D. How do I hook it up so my DISH DVR runs through it.

If you want the audio to come through the home theater, then simply use the av jacks from the DVR box to the input of a video in section of the home theater jacks and put the yellow jack,(or component whichever you can use) into the tv video input

If you have a video in section on the reciever, then that will let you use 5.1 surround and you can have that for the audio and video to tv
