Hello Folks
When your front load washer starts to shake violently it is usually because the 2 shock absorbers are done.
Parts cost about $10 each. You need to take the top off the machine and the front. The bottom bolts are accessable from the front. The top bolts are harder to get at and a helper is very usefull.
Put a little blue lock tight on the bolt threads when reinstalling them.

Cheers

If you are recieving E6 or other unknown codes, this means that the control board has failed. It needs to be replaced. Remove the top from the machine and then remove the screws that hold the panel in place. The wires are colour coded and the terninals are also coloured.

    The board costs around $110.

Don't forget to unplug any appliance you are working on.

If you have the manual handy, check the debris filter removal and reinstallation procedure. There may be some little thing that can spell the difference between leaks and no leaks.

Why does it not drain?

It "should drain automatically. If yours does not, please make sure the washer is properly leveled both front to back and side to side, make sure the drain hose is not inserted too far into the drain pipe and that there are no bends or kinks in the drain hose that might cause a blockage. Samsung also recommends cleaning the debris filter on a regular basis (at least once per month). To avoid spillage when cleaning the debris filter, it's important to first empty the rubber drain tube located next to the debris filter into a container. For more information, please refer to the User Manual."

M|y Samsung P801 is giving me a E7 message - any

Question I have a Samsung Sensor Quick P801 front load washer that displays error messages E3 and E7. These are not shown in the owners manual. What do they mean and are they repairable without having to bring in a technician? Thanks XX XXXXXXX for your help. Submitted: 591 days and 22 hours ago. Category: Appliance Value: CA$10 Status: CLOSED +Read More Posted by Forry 590 days and 1 hours ago. Answer Hi XXXXX.XXXXXX.XXXXXX,
These error codes are to do with water supply and drain.Check the water supply has not been turned off or is not working for any other reason . Outside work can often disrupt water supplys! Blockages of the pump and filters need to be checked also is the drain pipe at the correct height (at least 18 inches/45cm from floor) and if pushed into a stand pipe , not pushed to far down (12 inches/30cm is usually suffice). If your drain attaches to the sink waste , check the nozzle is clear and drainage is good. Please click the accept tab for my answer regards David(FORRY)
589 days and 23 hours ago. Reply I had already done all of the things you suggested except for checking for the blockages. How do you check blockages of the pump and filter? Could there be a problem with the machine not being level? It had been working fine for about 4 months before these error messages showed up.

Thanks XXXXX XXX your help.

Posted by Forry 589 days and 22 hours ago. Answer The filter is usually in the bottom right hand corner and behind a little door that hinges or a strip that unclips across the bottom front of the machine. The filter will usually unscrew with your hand or small plastic spanner suplied with the new machine. The pump itself is internal and therefore ISOLATING ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FIRST is important. The pump is where the drain and sump pipes attach.Check inside the pump and the pipes or call in an engineer if you would rather. Thanks XXX XXXX question and I hope this has helped you, regards David. 589 days and 22 hours ago. Reply Will water come out of the filter when I get it unscrewed? Is there a trick to getting at the filter? My machine has a covering plate all the way across the front that I haven't been able to figure out how to take off.

Thanks,

Henry
Posted by Forry 589 days and 13 hours ago. Answer Yes depending on how much is in the drum.If a lot drain excess by lowering the drain pipe down into a bucket and then have a towel to catch the bit that is left. The front plate should be able to be removed with a flat bladed screwdriver. Good Luck, regards David. 589 days and 12 hours ago. Reply Is there some specific spot to insert to pry or what is the trick?
Accepted Answer There are usually 3 plastic tabs located evenly across the strip. About 2 inches in from each end and centrally. Good luck.Forry39730.3218618403 shirt.jpg Expert: Forry Pos. Feedback: 97.7 % Accepts: 184 Answered: 10/9/2008 Home Appliance Technician

I wonder why there is still water left inside my front load after draining. It used to be totally drained. But now as you turn the drum by hand you can hear water inside of it. My samsung is Wd 6102

Hi the likely problem is a blocked drain filter or a bad pump. Their will either be a small door at the front right or a removable panel under the door. gain access to the pump and beside the pump there will be what looks like a gas cap on a car. unscrew it and clean the filter. If you don't see too much that would block the filter then your problem is the pump replace it. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment. Mike

E20 is an error code for drainage failure.

Check where the appliance drain hose connects to the house drains for a blockage.

If it's onto a spigot under the sink, take them off and check both for a blockage.

If these are ok then it's likely to be a blockage in the pump.

You'll need to drain the water out manually.

Put a shallow dish below the filter and slacken the filter.

Tighten it to stop the flow of water while you empty the dish.

Once empty, take the filter out, clean out the debris and ensure nothing is left jamming the pump.

Before refitting the filter, put the machine on drain or spin and listen at the filter housing to see if you can hear the pump running.

If you do, fit the filter and try the machine again.
