Defrag you HDD, that is one of the best simple solutions you may be able to do.

open my computer

right click on your local drive (C:)

then click properties

click tools then select disk defragment

then click on defrag now

on vista all you have to do is click on defrag now, on XP you will have to see the status first, then defrag.

on XP if the colors you see are separated, you really have to defrag, this will take at least an hour, depending on the status of your HDD.

You may have a virus, malware, adware, a browser hijacker, or pups (potentially unwanted programs).

How do I Delete a folder called Rescache.mni that saya I need permission from trusted Installer?

The best way to delete something such as this, is to remove it while the computer is in "Safe Mode" (usually F8 at startup).

Computer freezing up

You are probably carrying alod of spyware or a virus.
Please print this out and follow instuctions in order.

Please try as follows:

Update and run your virus control. ( if you do not have a viable virus control program, go to www.comodo.com and download a free one.)

Do you have a separate spyware control program?(If not you can go to www.tucows.com and search for a freeware spyware detection program to download.) Run it when you have it.

Do you have a registry cleaning prgram? If you do run that now.

Now got to toolbar>tools>internet options>general tab and delete all your cookies

Now go to Start>all programs>accessories>system tools> disc cleanup and run that(when it says delete all files click yes.)

Empty your recycle bin

Now look in the lower right corner of your screen. How many little icons do you have there, besides your virus control. internet indicator and sound indicator? If you have a bunch, let me know what they are. They are running on standby all the time and can really slow your computer down, so if you have a bunch of programs there we need to stop them from doing that.

Take alook at your desktop. Are there a lot of icons you never use? You can right click on them to delete them. This does not delete the programs.

When you are finished with all of this, restart your computer.

Let me know how this solution works for you and please rate it. thank you for using Fix Ya!
