What type of problem with convergence? no convergence at all? pitcure bowing? this in the setup menu do you have the convergence option? a convergence ki in a standad porojection has stk ic/s this model does not .you might have the fl231 fuse problem.. generally its board replacement. then the problem becomes alighnment.

As I think you know it does not have conventional convergence circuit and if it is the PTK 195 which is marked on rear label on set I can tell you what is likely bad.

Looking for the auto convergence menu on my rca rear projection tv.

Its under the setup section of the on screen menu. If its no longer there then you will need the RCA repair kit called ITC222 and ITC222A convergence option missing repair kit. from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the components and the CD with instructions included with the kit.

The rca 52 inch tv turns on with picture but the images are in split in three with red green and blue and theres about five lines that swoop down and up to the top of tv ?

RCA P52755BA 52 inch tv looks 3D

You have a problem with convergence and all you may need to do is replace a fuse. Look up convergence for your tv model and hopefully you will get an answer as to where the fuse is located and how to replace it. Very common for RCA tv's

RCA projection is having color shadows and blurred picture.

Hi, this is failed convergence and it is due to a faulty convergence board chip set. simply replacing the convergence board in this set Will fix your issues.

Rca 52 inch convergence

You have a opened fuse FL231 next to flyback transfomer are 3 Fuses they look like small brown squares/ Fuse in the middle is bad when you do not have convergence listed in menu.You can pull the top off of these fuses .
