Go to http://www.agneovo.com/global/support/services.htm# and click on Online Registration. A window will pop up, so if you have a popup blocker turned on, either disable it before going there, or click on the bar that appears just under the address line to temporarily allow popups. Then click on Online Registration again, and you should be able to complete the necessary info. Thanks for rating FixYa!

Hpcompaq d330 ut has no in put singnal to LCD screen ? is this big trouble to fix as in cost a lot??

Let's check the obvious first...
Make sure monitor cables are attached correctly and securely.
Is the monitor receiving power/turned on?
Assuming monitor was working at some point and not damaged...

Start up PC in safe mode (press F5 key when you see Windows logo at startup). This will use a default VGA driver. If LCD works now, you may need to check for and replace the video driver for the monitor. Go to the manufacturer's website for the monitor. If LCD does not work, I suspect a hardware failure in the LCD monitor.

If this is a new, under warranty, you can take back to place of purchase for an exchange. Receipt may be required. If not under warranty, you may be looking at buying a new monitor. LCD have come down in price. My recommendation would be the Samsung SyncMaster. 15 inch size is cheapest. 17 inch have become very competitive. 19 inch and up can be expensive depending on brand. Watch for sales. Local club stores like Sam's or Costco sometimes have deals, too. Of course, their are online sources too like newegg.com.

Monitor Help

Two things: one, the pivot may be really tight and therefore doesn't move easily. Two, the pivot on that monitor doesn't have much range. It ranges from looking slightly downward, to slightly upward. The pivot will give before you break anything so long as you're not trying to force it past the limits.

CRT Computer monitor

Unless you're hell-bent on doing this, I'd say just dump it and get a new, cheap LCD. CRTs are not really user-servicable (as the labels and manuals clearly state.)

If you must, check out this site with a how-to...

http://www.instructables.com/id/How_to_safely_disassemble_a_CRT_monitor/

Good luck. A new LCD would probably be less troublesome and time-consuming.

Samsung SyncMaster 931BF 19" Monitor. Screen was working fine. But now after raising the resolution past 1280X1024, the screen wouldn't display anything. I tried it on my older monitor, a CRT. It...

This is because your screen is not compatible with any resoultion past 1280 x 1024. Look at your screen's specifications here: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200602/20060210090838125_BN59-00521A-01Eng.pdf (Page 76 listed as Maximum resolution)

If you want to go past that, you must purchase and/or use a different monitor. Just be sure to look at the Maximum Resolutions BEFORE you purchase a new monitor!

Neovo F-419 screen blanks and power light flashes green.

Try other monitor(which is working fine) to your pc,if it work...it means your monitor gone bad.

If it doesn't work.. try to connect your neovo f-419 to the other pc to check if it is working.....,if it does, your pc's videochip/videocard or badmotherboard may cause the problem

Hello Drewl,
You mention that you have wireless already existing in your home - it would be easiest to purchase a Wireless-G USB adapter for the desktop. I prefer the LinkSys Wireless-G Portable USB Model WUSB54GP, but there are others to choose from.

Absolutely, pretty much any lcd monitor will work...just make sure you get an LCD that has VGA output, not DVI (most LCDs today have both)

When i turn on my pc the start up is desplayed on my lcd ag neovo f-417 monitor but when it goes to load the windows the screen goes blank

Your memory has more than likely taken a vacation. This is the most common effect when it does and depending on the reasons for it deciding to no longer function for your computer, It may at times work (sluggishly so) but usually not. When it goes... it's generally gone out for the long haul. Your computer still sounds like it's working but the processor just cannot get signals past the memory. When installing memory, make sure that you are using prescribed RAM for your motherboard. Take care to not underscore the amount of Ram you install as some boards utilize onboard memory as it's casche in Video Chips.
Another prospect is that you lost Windows. Try reinstalling it but i'll bet that's not your problem as Windows is pretty good about trouble shooting itself and warning you of a problem. I learned it as..."NO WARNING...NO RAM".
