Hi Miranda

You need to purchase a pedal removal spanner(wrench). They are very thin so they can slot in between the pedal and the crank.

If this is not an option, find a 15mm spanner(wrench) and tap it onto the bit where the pedal meets the crank. Ive always found that you need a friend to sit on the bike, hold the opposite pedal at the low stroke while you undo the pedal.

**REMEMBER** pedals have the opposite to normal threads. To undo them, you need to turn them clockwise. Spray penetrating fluid onto the threads a day before you attempt to remove them. They are very difficult to remove.

Hope this helps.

this particular model is not designed for speed, it is designed for performance, like jump, slide, concourse, slalom, gravel, downhill - all of these are difficult to achieve on other types of bike, but that one is perfect for it, therefore i would suggest - do not pursue the speed but tricks on it, you will be envy of all neighbourhood...

im certain that model has a 3 piece crank set up. the inner crank bearing jam nut has loosened up or the bearings themselves have gone bad.first check to see if its tight, if it is then it will require a replacement set of bearing that are a pretty standard size to all bikes and can be purchased at nearly every bike shop.
