Question about Pioneer SD-533HD5 53" Rear Projection HDTV
Best advise is with set unplugged follow power cord to power supply board--it should be rather large and to the right as you look from the back.
This board should have several fuses on it---most common problem is bad and poor solder connections all over the board.
Several plugs, and many screws secure it---mark the plugs and make a diagram so you know where all go.
Remove and resolder entire board---this set is one of the first that used lead free solder and like others prone to this kind of problem.
Bad connections can look ok, typical of lead free solder.
