The Screens Power Inverter or The Screens LCD (ccfl) Bulb Has Blown... One of the 2... The Power Inverter is the small Circuit Board Located Just Below the Screen (inside the Screen Casing), You can replace it by ordering an exact Aspire 5610 inverter from Ebay.
Though it can also be a blown bulb, which is also replaceable if you know how or have a close by laptop repair shop that can do it for you.
The indicator light next to "lamp" flashes when the projection lamp needs to be replaced, take a quick look at your operators manuals "troubleshooting" section for help on what these "warning lights" on the TV mean.
