It should be still under warranty, please verify that first, if you open it up, it will void the warranty, it can have serious problem in the power supply or backlight inverter circuits.

if ur c.p.u fan is going on then..plugout ur ram and clean it by pencil eraser then insert again, check ur c.mos battery and jumper,unplug every connection and replug tightly again

stand can be removed by hands because it has locks and you can remove cover by screwdrivers if not opened by screwdriver then look the locks and insert the screw driver in the gap lock can be opened then you can see smps and logic board

Monitor turns on and off

Most monitors use switching power supply that can work from 90V to 270V 50/60Hz, you can see the label in the back of the monitor.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed SAMSUNG monitors to get some ideas what to look for:

2yrs it long enough...some only got 1yr. Hehehe... You'll need to replaced a new backlight inverter.

Could you tell us what happens when you try to boot up and the last successful thing you did on it before the problem surfaced ?
