Your wireless router may have MAC Address Filtering, to play online you will have to enter your PS3's MAC Address into your routers trusted MAC addresses.

Lost network when replacing wifi router

To connect your computer to a wireless router, you click the Refresh network list, then Choose your wireless network and then click Connect to your secured Wireless Network, it will asks for a Network Key before allowing you to connect into your wireless network. This Network Key is either the WEP, or WPA or WPA2 Encryption key that is used to configure the Wireless Router. The Passphrase is an alternate way to setup the Encryption key.
When you are requested for a Network Key, you can just enter the Passphrase that was used to configure the Encryption key in the wireless router. http://www.fixya.com/support/r5270415-network_password_network_address For information on securing your wireless network, configuring the wireless router and configuring the wireless card in the laptop/computer, please click on this link and follow my instructions :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3559128-wireless_router_security

Router pasword

Hello.
- Do you need the wireless password or the router login password?
If you need
wireless password(security key like WEP or WPA) or you would like to setup wireless security for your Netgear router, access the router setup page by typing http://www.routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1(sometimes it's 192.168.0.1) in the address field of your browser and then press Enter.
Enter
admin for the router user name and your password (or the default, password).

- This image is the login window to access the router's setup page.

12_11_2011_12_51_50_pm.png

- After logging in. Look at the main menu on the left, click on Wireless Settings, from there you can check the Wireless Key(For WEP you need Key 1,2,3 or 4 whichever is selected... For WPA you need passphrase) or you can setup wireless security from there if you haven't done so.

- This image is the router's setup page and this is where you can configure the router and check some settings like Wireless security or password.

**If by chance you are unable to access the router's login or setup page by using the default username &password(admin, password) and you totally have forgotten it, you need to reset the router to factory or default settings then you have to setup the router again.

**To reset the router to default settings:1. Unplug all the cables attached to it except the power cord.
- Make sure the router is plugged into the power outlet, then hold down the reset button at the back of the router for 30 seconds using a paper clip or a pen. You should see the lights flicker momentarily on the front panel of the router.
2. Once the lights are stable, connect 1 computer or laptop directly to the back of the router(Ethernet/LAN ports usually they are labelled by numbers and have the same color, just pick one). If you pick number 1, check the corresponding light indicator at the front panel of the router, make sure light 1 is also lit up if not choose another port at the back of the router.3. Setup and configure the router again.

~~ Hope this helps ~~

Wireless connection error code 32007

Wireless Router:

  • Try adjusting the "Channel" your wireless router broadcasts on. We highly recommend setting your wireless router to either channel 1 or 11. Be sure to try both channels if the first one you try does not work. This can potentially increase the download speed. For information on accessing your router's settings, click here to select the brand name and model number of your router (if available). (The "Channel" setting is typically found in the "Wireless" section of your router's setup utility.)

  • If adjusting the "Channel" did not work, please review our "Slow Download Times or Errors Received While Connecting" troubleshooting tips by clicking here.

  • Are you using a Netgear brand wireless router? Our expeirence shows disabling the "SPI Firewall" of the router may help the connection. The "SPI Firewall" option is typically found under the "WAN Setup" tab of the router's settings. For information on accessing your router's settings, please click here and select the model of the Netgear router you own (if available).

  • If you are still receiving this error code, please click here for assistance.

Need to configure for wirless setupnew dsl line from one isp to another need to set up router for wireless connection

If you are setting up a new router for DSL connection, i presume that you already know the login credentials to access your router's admin interface. By default, depending on your router's model, you can access and configure it at http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 using a web browser and make sure that computer you are using is connected to the router through an ethernet cable.

    Default login credentials:
    user name: admin
password: admin (or try also leaving it blank)

When you are at the web interface, go to a link known as SETUP and there you can setup your connection. If your DSL provides you a user name and password, then you can also enter them there. Then save your settings.

To allow internet broadcasting using wifi, go to a link known as "WIRELESS" and setup encryption there using WAP, WPA2, or WEP or any other recommended encryption protocol. Through this, you can prevent other users near your place to use your internet connection without informing you.

Try n 2 hook up my router to my laptop..how do i bgn?

Setup the router and attach the computer using a networking cable. Run the software that came with the wireless or else go to 192.168.1.1 in your web browser. Setup wireless unsecured first and then unhooking the copper line attempt to attach to the access point from your laptop. Once this works, then reattach the copper line and access the configuration again. Setup WEP. When you enter a pass-phrase it will give you three or four automatically generated keys. Use this as your password for you wireless configuration on your laptop. Disconnect the copper line and setup wireless with WEP. You should be good to go.

Play on xbox live via wireless

First your setup should be, wall (isp) > Actiontec DSL Gateway > Zyxel router > your computer

If that is already setup right, try the ip address of 192.168.1.1, some routers use this ip rather that 192.168.0.1

    Hope that helps.
