Hi Jay
Your machine will support 256 with no problems. You can go to a 512Mb card also without any trouble.
Post your version of Windows, the brand and model of video board, and whether it's PCI or AGP and I'll help you find the drivers if you don't have them already.
If this helps, would you rate my post please?
Let me know what you need.

SOURCE: Video card

Hi, Yosemic
Happy Holidays,
Sometimes is difficult to accept the reality of technology, but is happend, there is no 512 RAM video for this particular PC, but you can found for 256 ram, yet from Nvidia or Radeon taste.
PCI-E is eating the market.

The monutor and keyboard not working and the code error is 2 4

Guest,
The diagnostic error code 2,4 on the Optiplex GX 620 represents a Video subsystem configuration or failure. This means that the video card in the system has gone bad. If you have an on board video card that you are using then you will need to either get the motherboard replaced or add a discrete card into one of the available MB slots. If your system currently has a discrete card installed try reseatting it in the slot. If that does not resolve the issue replace the video card.
Thank You,

My Dell 0R8060 Motherboard needs a new video card, what are good video cards for it?

Your Dell 3000 SKU 0R8060 motherboard currently uses an "Integrated" Intel Extreme Graphics 2 video card. You can install and use any PCI graphics card listed at the link provided below;
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Category/guidedSearch.asp?CatId=28&sel=Detail;55_158_2872_2872
Check warranties when choosing. The more memory the better. You'll also need to enter your bios/cmos and make a change so your MB boots to the PCI port and not the integrated Intel.

I hope you find this helpful!

Increase the amount of shared video dell gx280

Hello!

Don´t lose time for that, I think that you have integrated grafik in own chip, and they have same options with 1 or 64 MB, option in bios, that isn´t a standard shared grafik. Try AGP card if you have a socet for that.

256 MB Nvidia GeForce Go 7800 for Inspiron 9400/E1705 Card Failu

Both solutions are wrong. The Dell Inspiron 9400/1705 is a laptop. If you buy a Nvidia GeForce Go 7800 for this laptop, you need to buy a Dell Inspiron 9400/E1705 motherboard for a discrete video card. The integrated video is a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. The integrated video has the video chipset on the motherboard and the discrete video (GeForce Go 7800) has the video chipset on the video card.

Videoadapter in Dell 1650 server possible ?

8MB sounds like it is only recognizing onboard video.

Check the BIOS setup screen for video options. You may be able to select or enable PCI video.

If that does not work, Dell has lifetime phone support for their servers.

Write down the Express Service Code and Service Tag number that is on the server chassis and call Dell.
This is the last number I used for server support: (800) 945-3355
If it doesn't work you should be able to find a valid number at support.dell.com

I hope this helps.

Would like to replace MthBrd (M.B.) in E510 (Dell)

I believe you would be better off if you buy a new case as well as motherboard Dell cases can be restrictive on amount of drives etc you can fit in them
If you do you will need to find a board that will suit your type of ram and video card
RAM is it 168 pin 186 pin 200 pin DDR DDR2 DDR3 etc
video card is it AGP or PCI-E 4X 8X 16X

Getting access to bios in Dell Inspiron 1300

No, The amount of RAM the integrated video uses is dynamically adjusted depending on the loading of the video and the total amount of RAM installed.

If less than 512 MB RAM, the video is limited to 64MB, 512 to 2 GB max video RAM is 128 MB.

If you want to upgrade RAM to improve performance, check the link below:

2 GB for $50 + tax, not bad

Video card with 64 mb and pixel shader version 1.1

Easiest way is to right click the desktop> click properties (or Personlise - in Vista)> then the settings tab (or Display Settings in Vista)>then advanced> then the adapter tab > you will then see a list of your graphic card, its memory and bios information.

Let me know what happens.

Video card

Hi Yosemic..

Bad news for you... your computer don't have an AGP or PCI-e slot, so a video card upgrade is possible, but no recommended cause you will have to buy a PCI VGA (very slow).

Your computer only have 3 PCI slots as you can see at this link
http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim2400/en/sm_en/specs.htm

Better buy a new one..
