Question about LG Washing Machines
You have to break the tub into 2 pieces. The bearing is sealed in the rear tub. Only done it twice. Very hard. Good luck!

A trained mechanic is suppose to do this thing. The tub must be taken out to remove the tub bearing. This requires total tear down of the machine from the top panel, control panel and front panel for free access to the bearings. Lay the machine on its front and remove the suspension springs and the suspension legs. Take the tub assembly out and separate the outer tub from the inner basket. You can now remove the bearing assembly using puller or tap it out gently using a rubber mallet. Tap it out gently as not to damage the tub.
