Question about Amana Ovens
The oven temperature sensor is defective.
Unplug the range or turn off the range circuit breaker.
Open the oven door,remove the oven racks.
The temperature sensor is a pencil thin metal piece about 4 inches long.
It protrudes from the rear upper part of the oven cavity.
Remove the mounting screw(s).
Carefully pull the sensor out to expose the molex quick connect plug.
Unplug the sensor.
Replace it with a new sensor.
Reverse the above order to secure the sensor and restore power.
