Question about Learning Curve Toys Learning Curve Brands 116 John Deere 568 Round Baler

Open Question

I have a 430 John Deere round baler and have replaced most bearings in rollers and installed new belts. The second and third belts in from the outside are flipping and crossing over each other but the other 4 belts on the baler are staying straight. What's the problem, ever heard of this?

Why does my mower deck belt on john deere 316 keeps breaking

There are a few causes for this and its not just this brand or model. First check that belt is installed correctly, check the part that keeps the belt on the belt rollers the belt should be between the garde and belt wheel, check for shine spots where belt is rubbing, Some times the mower deck is not set even or too low it can put the belt at too much of an angel causing the top of roller to cut it. So check the deck level there are adjustment devices on the mower to adjust, check for shine spots and for correct belt installment, and check roller wheel top for cuts or sharp spots, and check belt tension to see if it is to tight or too lose, also check that rollers spin free and there is not one stuck that could be heating the belt up too much, And last but not least make sure you are using the proper belt that is made for a mower fan belts don't last very long on a mower.

Does this baler have wide belts, like conveyors?
If so, the rollers should have adjustment bolts.
Write back & we'll see what we can do.

Twine coming over to far on bale of cutting side

Is this an auto wrap baler or manual warp. Most every baler I have seen that is auto-wrap has an adjustment for this. Do you have the manual. If not try to get one as I am sure it tells how to adjust this. I hope this helps some.

How do I replace hay baler belt fasteners?

Depending on model of baler/belts you would shave of enough rubber to get a smooth surface.then put tool in vise with fastener in it,be sure pin is in slot when crimping or fastener teeth will not be squared up in belt and make it hard to get belt pin lined up when putting back together. Is there paper along each side of fastener? If so leave it there until done crimping.
