My Baby Gaggia is about five years old...just shut off. Is there a fuse?

Yes, remove top panel and test all the thermostats one of them tripped.

Problem with steam


I'll take the machine if you are throwing it away:) You have a blown fuse. There are 2 fuses inside the mahine. Uplug the mahine, Pull the top of and locate both fuses. Connect a wire going from one end to the other of the fuse. This will temporarily short circuit the fuse. Now plug the machine in, and test it out. If it works, than that is obviously the bad fuse. If not, try the exact same procedure on the other fuse. My thermal fuse went out and it only set me back $1.98 to fix. Good Luck!

Gaggia blew a fuse


ensure that you have replaced w the same rating of fuse, amp and voltage
also check for a possible broken part or wiring problem that could cause a short circuit

If you take of the top then you can see the boiler, on the top of the boiler you will see thermostat in the middle on one you will see a little pin, press down the pin to reset.

Crack in coffee machine


if is a plastic or similar material you can fix whit epoxi glue. is it in two different tube you only have to mix de glue en the hardener. to get very tough stuf. be sure to well preparing surface by sanding to get more grip on surface.you can make littel hole on each side of de crack to get a better grip for the epoxi.
