Malfunction code C-OBAO

My Bizhub 350 is giving me a malfunction code of C-OBAO, and demanding I contact my service representative. We have not had a great relationship with them, and I don't want to contact them if I don't have to. Anybody know? Thanks

I have a di3510, wich is very similar. I get this code often. Usually it´s just a malfunction on the finisher. The shutter mecanism. Turn off and move the finisher parts with the hands and turn the mahine on. Usually works for me after 2 tries or so.

My Bizhub 350 is saying malfunction dectected C3452

This code means you have a fuser warm up failure. The fusing unit uses heat and pressure to "fuse" the toner onto the paper. It is located right where the paper exits the machine. Here is the info directly from the service manual:
The Fusing Roller Sub Thermistor does not
detect the required temperature within 30 sec.
after a warm-up cycle has begun; therefore, the
copier does not complete the warm-up cycle.
• The temperature of the Fusing Rollers does not
reach the required level even after the set period
of time has elapsed during a warm-up cycle.

Most likely you have a thermistor failure in the fuser. You are going to need to call your local service company and have them repair then reset the machine.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
