Question about Dryers
This is a clear indication of a gas valve solenoid coil failure. One or both of the gas valve solenoid coils work when cool but fail when they get hot. These coils are located sitting on top of the gas valve assembly, one with three prongs while the other has two.
Replace both coils and it should address the problem. Remove the front panel then the bracket securing the solenoid coils and then pull the coils out. Slide the new coils in then secure them with the bracket. Indicate the complete and exact model number of the dryer for detailed and complete replacement procedure.
