Question about Lands Phones

1 Answer

I have a Panasonic KX TG2000B phone system purchased in 2001. The dial tone changed to a low volume buzz and the phone does't work. It will ring on incoming calls but can only hear the buzz when answered. All of the cordless ext. phones act the same. I have changed the batteries over time on the ext phones and now changed the battery in the master phone but no change. I have cable phone service and they checked and all their stuff is working OK. Can you help or do I just need a new system?

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. There is a RESET Button in your unit, if the unit does not work, press (RESET) on the bottom of the base unit with a pointed object, such as a straighten paper clip or pen. If still it won’t work then it seems you’ll have to get it repaired. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

How do you change the Ring tone on Panasonic KX-T2378JXW telephone

You can not change the ring tone on the KX-T2378JXW. You can adjust the ring volume for either line by using the switches on the right hand side of the phone. Your choices are Off, Low and High for each line. See page 13 of the manual for a picture of the switches. One copy of the manual is here: http://www.panasonic.ae/en/manuals/kx-t2378.pdf . Another copy is available from the product site: http://www.panasonic.com/middleeast/en/consumer/telephones-home-security/telephone/corded/kx-t2378.html . Scroll down to find the link to the manual.

I hope this helps.

Panasonic kx rring tone

This phone does not allow you to change the ringer tone. You can change the volume (page 18), the voicemail tone (page 36) and the incoming call tone number (page 42). For full details see the referenced pages in the manual.

How can we change the ringtone on Panasonic KX-T7730 phone?

You don't. Panasonic analog system phones have one ring tone. You can change the cadence (single double or triple) ring from outside calls, but not the tone.

How do i adjust the volume on my panosonic kx tga 131az cordless phone.

With Panasonic phones the volume of whatever function is active can be adjusted with the arrows button. While it is ringing use the arrow up or down to adjust ringing volume. When off hook (you can hear dial tone or you are on a call) use arrows to adjust handset volume.

Panasonic kx-tg2303 how do I change the ring tone?

With the phone off press the volume up and down button to ensure which ring tome you have. the up and down keys will change the volume. Now, press each of the keys 1 through 9 to select the ring tone you would like. Please let each ring tone finish before selecting a different one else the one you select next will not ring to let you know what it is.

cheers

I WANT TO CHANGE THE RINGING MELODY OF PANASONIC KX-T7565

I'm going to take a chance here, because we don't have them. The au brochure says you have 8 tones, so try pressing Program, the button twice (be it intercom or a CO button), then dial 01-08 and STORE. By default, digital phones already ring 01 tone. You have to do this for each line and each phone to make it work.

Ring tones on KX-T7433

Wow, this is your lucky day :-)

From each phone, press PROGRAM 99 and the INTERCOM or CO buttons TWICE, then dial 1-8 and STORE. (default is 2). You can now make each line and intercom different, or each phone (up to 8) different. After you finish with each phone, just pick up and drop the handset back into the cradle to end programming.

The feature is called Ringing Tone Selection.

Phone Rings,but cannot answer

if there is no dial tone that means that the connection is not being made when you pick up the phone hence you cannot answer nor can you get a dial tone
the fact that the phone rings indicates that the land line is good so the fault is in the phone itself
