New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

2001 Escape: airbag light comes on,blinks, and then is a solid light. Is this probably a costly repair to fix?

This happens with my '01 Escape all the time. After extensive research on this I discovered Ford installed some really horrible wiring clips under the Driver's and Passenger's seats. Fixing the problem is just a matter of getting under your seat and disconnecting and reconnecting those little wiring clips. Mine are bright yellow and the only wiring under either seats. I heard a couple of guys got fed up with the problem and replaced the wiring on these, but I find it easier to just fiddle with them whenever the airbag light illuminates.
Ford did acknowledge this issue and didn't issue a recall because the airbags will supposedly still deploy in the event of a collision. I don't recall where I read this but I felt relieved by it :). If this issue really bothers you go get it diagnosed, the diagnosis wont be pricey, the fix might be though! Good luck.

How to remove front seat headrest on a 2008 Ford Escape? Have new seat covers and need to be able to remove them to install.

There is a Pin hole on one side of the headrest in the plastic base. You have someone put a small Allen wrench in the hole till it presses against the metal spring and also on the release on the other side, then pull the headrest out. You will have to press on the spring to put the head rest back in also.
