Look for THREE gold pins in a row, and a jumper connecting pin #1 to pin #2.

With the computer turned off, and the AC power *UNPLUGGED*, move the jumper from #1/#2 to #2/#3, wait 5 seconds, and move the jumper back to the #1/#2 position.

You have just "reset" the BIOS.

check your motherboard manual fo CMOS reset jumper location on you motherboard, and follow the instructions on resetting to defaults. Keep in mind that any customisations implemented by you in bios will be lost, so you will need to do them again.

Hope that helps

You need to remove the CMOS battery and reset the bios. The CMOS battery is usually the coin battery on your motherboard- remove it for about 15s, then insert it back and proceed with resetting the bios.

How to reset the BIO Password..???

Hi, Reseting the BIOS password is quite easy, you just need to unscrew the bottom plate and look for the CMOS battery underneath. all you need to do is to remove the battery for a few minutes then plug it back in. you should be able to go to your BIOS setup screen.
Thank you using Fixya. Your recommendation is highly appreciated.

How to reset the bios p4 titan ga-8id533 motherboard

As the computer starts up hit the Del key, that will take you into the BIOS utility, once in the BIOS load optimized defaults, this will reset the BIOS configuration.
Failing this just remove the power cord from the back of the computer and take the motherboard battery out for 20 minutes, this will fully reset the BIOS so you will have to input the time and date.

If you have lost your bios password, only way out of this is accessing the motherboard and resetting the cmos.
If you access the mothernboard you can reset the bios removing the little coin battery from motherboard for one minute.
There is also a 3 pins bridged contact, near to bios chip, if you move the contact on the other two pins it will do same as removing battery.
