Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

I have Hitachi AX-M83 system. While deleting a song from USB stick, it asked "Del File" Now my question is how many songs does a file have? Because USB stick showed 31 tracks stored, but after deleting abt 10 songs, it showed only 7 tracks, so pls explain, what it means by "del file" Thanks - Mina

The number of songs you can store has to do with the size of the USB. Now the file itself has a size and make sure your system has enough space for the file.

I can't delete the songs and the computer says my mp3 is "full"

You need to be in MSC mode to do deletion in My Computer; put in MSC mode in the settings menu under USB, then plug in, go to My Computer and open it as a drive, go to Music folder and delete by rightclicking on songs and choosing delete. You can also format the player by rightclicking on the drive letter of the sansa and choosing format. If you are deleting from a program like Rhapsody (ugh) or windows media player, you will get a lot of issues and not all will delete. Stick with My Computer in MSC. Also as a side note, make sure you have all file folders showing including hidden files in the tools menu in My Computer
