That lightning bolt sign is most probably an indicator of it being charged. remove the charger and it should go off. Plug it in and it should come back.

Perform a soft reset. Press the ALT and RIGHT SHIFT (CAP) and DELETE keys at the same time. If the problem still persist, you will need perform hard reset, power off the phone, power on back after a minute, while the phone is loading, pull out/remove the battery from your phone, wait for some minutes and put the battery back, with this, your blackberry should be reset and the problem should be fixed..
