Hi,
If it is Mitsubishi WS-55859 tv then it would have leaky/ dried up capacitors in dm module, replace these bad capacitors to fix the issue.
Capacitors replacement requires soldering work with proper tools and get help of local tv repair shop if you have no experience to do so.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

I have a Mitsubishi WD-52725 DLP TV and green light (timer) is rapidly blinking after a power outage and set will not turn on. The bulb was replaced a month ago and it has worked fine since. Now it will...

Hello
make a System Reset process. To do this;
If the TV will not respond to either the remote control or the front panel controls and/or will not power Off, press the SYSTEM RESET button with a pointed item like the end point of a paperclip. The TV will turn Off and the TIMER light will flash quickly for about one minute. When the TIMER light stops flashing, you may again turn on the TV. The changes you made the last time the TV was on before you used the SYSTEM RESET button may be lost, however, the changes that were previously saved are not lost.
OK.

Power outage at the house when power returned tv will come on but no picture. Blinking light on front panel. What should i do?

Unplug the set for 30 minutes to see if the processor will reset,if it works great, now if there is no change you will need a tv technician to troubleshoot the problem with an estimate.

We recently experienced a power outage, but once the power came back on, my TV would not turn back on other then a the timer green light was blinking. I pushed the reset button and also unplugged the power...

The blinking green light is the DM unit in the set booting up like a computer.

Several things can happen here--Research by model number with GOOGLE, model number and problems.

It is often called the blinking green light of death.

The most common problem is 4 filter caps in power supply (they run 7/24 and supply voltage to DM unit fail--also some fuses there.

If you look on the net you will find places that sell kit for this repair.

This is also one of a group of several Mitsubishi sets with this kind of problem--It is not the Lamp!

Some of these models develop so many problems Mitsubishi now sells a chassis replacement--includes power and several boards that develop bad caps.

Understand: Mitsubishi has a long history of caps failing in their sets, it goes back almost 30 years. I have seen older ones where over 20 filter caps were bad.

You can talk to Mitsubishi to see if chassis replacement is available for your set--this came about as a result of the threat of hundreds of people entering a class action lawsuit (several).

If this told you something you did not know rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.

If you have questions make a "comment" here and I will assist you.

Blinking light won't stop. It does not reset. Please help. Thanks

A quick fix that might get that out the way. Reset the lamp timer. Other wise you might be looking at a bad ballast. hard to tell w/ out knowing which indicator light is on.
