Question about liftmaster Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Transmitter 300MC

Had to relocate wall switch for the liftmaster 373p. after reconneting the wires white wire to there is no power to switch,

Open it up remove the battery and let everything dry out completely. Put it back together when dry and it should work.

Wiring for model Number 139-53663srt2


White wire with red tracer from wall control goes to terminal #1.
Solid white wire from wall control and each door sensor go to terminal #2.
White wires with black tracer from door sensors go to terminal #3.

remove the square white pad from the wall staion and you will find a screw. remove screw and lift up on entire wall station, it will come off the wall, wires are in the back

Terminal #1 - White wire with red tracer from wall control

Terminal #2 - Three solid white wires. One from wall control and one from each of the door sensors.

Terminal #3 - Two white wires with black tracer from the door sensors.

The wiring should be.

Terminal #1 - White wire with red tracer from wall control.

Terminal #2 - White wire from wall control and a white wire from each of the sensors.

Wall mount not opening door. Looks like its not getting power.


You may have disturbed the wiring leading to the wall control. It connects to terminals 1 and 2 on the rear of the motor unit. The wires are color coded and must be connected correctly. The solid white wire goes to terminal 2 and the white wire with red tracing goes to terminal 1.

I took sencer wirers off garage door motor to relocate wires in garage forgot were they go lol my fault dumb move


Each sensor has 2 wires. One is solid white and the other is white with a black tracer. The 2 white wires go to terminal 2 and the wires with the black tracer go to terminal 3.

Wall switch


I had this same problem (sort of) - my daughter lost the remote to our fan and it would not work from the wall switch. What you have to do is go up to where your fan is connected to the ceiling, slide the canopy down, and remove the remote transmitter. Then just rewire the fan normally - white to white, black and blue to black, and the ground wires together. Turn on the power and your fan light should work with the wall switch. You will have to pull the cord for the fan to work.
