Did Medicare purchase the scooter for you? If not then the problem could be a number of things.. bad throttle pot, bad speed control pot, bad connection in the main harness from the console to the rear of the scooter and a bad controller. You will probably have to have a tech check it for you and then decide if you want it fixed. You can call Repair Xpress at 1-877-581-3733 to see if they have a tech in your area and how much would they charge for a checkup. Now if Medicare did buy the scooter Repair Xpress will fix it for you Soory I can't be more specific and I hope this helps

Old Pride Rally won't charge or run

The batteries may be too old to take a charge. They are gell cell types and can be had at any battery shop. You can get them on line too, but shipping will be high.

Scooter won't take a charge

scooter battries must be charged on a regular basis.or else the on board charger wont charge them .Try useing a trickle charger to bring them back to life. if you dont have access to one bring them to a local service station they should charge them for a small fee.

I have a Schwinn S500 electric scooter. When you turn the power switch on the scooter will not run. the power indicator by the throttle jumps from low to medium charge. I charged the battery for the 8 hrs...

Hi Ron, for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. Good luck and have a nice day.

Battery fully charged everything works but will not move completley dead

Hi za900

You have several options to consider.
1. Controller is bad. This can only be checked by putting another controller on it. There is no test for controllers.

2. If the charger is bad your scooter will not run.

3. make sure your brake is in the lock position.

4. make sure your scooter is not plugged into the wall.

5. If your brake is bad the scooter won't run.

6. If your Throttle engager is bad the scooter won't run.

Have a tech evaluate for you, too many things could be the problem.

Any durable medical equipment company in your area can help you.

Good Luck
Tim

My aunt recently bought a secondhand scooter shoprider us pat no 4798255 without a users manual and the scooter will not charge please could you help?

Kathryn Was the scooter working when she bought it? If the batteries were fully charged and now it won't charge then I would suspect the charger. If the scooter wasn't charged when she got it and won't charge then I would replace the batteries Hope this helps

The (new) batteries indicate from the charger that they are fully charged yet only go for 1 mile before indicator goes 'red".

diane how far did ya used to go with a full charge? Just because the provider said the batteries are new doesn't mean they are new coulda sat on the self for 6 months. New batteries can go bad or in your case probably just one is bad. batteries should be under warranty contact the place you bought them and have them check them for you make sure they are fully charged when they pick them up. Hope this helps
