Question about Televison & Video
I have bought a new LCD Sony KD32P3020 TV and when I connected my Pioneer XV-D55 Cinema System using the Tech+Link interconnect S-VHS cable I can only get a Black and white picture.
The pioneer does not have any scart connections on it to connect sccart to scart, the cable worked fine on my old Panasonic flat screen tv.
Thanks Alan Patterson
Most have "hack codes" but yours is in a select group of a few that simply cant be done with a couple pushes of a button.
As far as I am aware the only way to get thesemachines to play Region 1 discs is to have them chipped. A variety of solutionsare available, and it needn't be expensive (typically £30 to £70) but youshould be aware that any internal modifications to your players wouldinvalidate the warranty. Have a look at the following web sites for moreinformation:http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/50-000-dvd.html
I know you were looking for a free solution you could do in a matter of seconds and sorry it didnt work out that way. Regardless, I hope I pointed you in the right direction and feel free to ask if you have any more question.
